iHerb hat im Angebot Life Extension Lithium 1 mg und 5 mg. Dabei soll es um reines Lithium handeln auf Basis Lithiumorotat.
Mit dem Produkt selbst habe ich keine Erfahrung, aber auf der Homepage von Life Extension recherchiert.

So purely mathematically you would have to take 23 capsules of this product to supply 1 mg of Lithium. Can you tell me something about that?

We apologize for any confusion. The 1000 mcg (1 mg) refers to the amount of elemental lithium in one serving. Each capsule provides 1000 mcg (1 mg) of lithium. This is derived from ~12 mg of lithium orotate which is not listed on the label following CFR Labeling Regulations.
Ich nehme täglich 1 Kapsel 1000 mcg Lithium als Lithiumorotat wie von Nehls empfohlen. Was Strunz dazu schreibt, ist mir mittlerweile egal.

vielleicht verstehe ich ja Deine Frage ganz falsch.
Dr. Strunz schreibt in der News von heute : "25 mg, entspricht einem Milligramm reines Lithium". Wenn ich jetzt z.B. bei Life extensions schaue, da steht auf der Dose: "1000Mikrogramm Lithium (as Lithium Orotat)". Da gehe ich doch mal davon aus, dass da dann die 1000Mikrogramm Lithium (entspräche genau dem 1mg, das Dr. Strunz angibt) in einer Kapsel drin sind. Da es als Lithium Orotat deklariert ist, müssten dann also ca. 25mg Lithium Orotat in der Kapsel sein.
Oder hab ich wirklich was falsch verstanden?

Zum Beitrag Dr. Strunz von heute: Ich habe noch kein Produkt gefunden, das die enthaltene Menge Lithiumorotat angibt. Lithiumorotat enthält nur 3,8% Lithium. Da bräuchte man die 26-fache Menge. Nein, es wird immer die Menge des enthaltenen reinen Lithiums angegeben. Und da sind wir bei 1 bis 5 mg Lithium täglich. Das, was auf der Dose steht.
